Simple and good - my favorite cordon in Vienna

Very simple restaurant. Loveless. Time has stopped here.Single sauce dishes from the bag.Hard dumplings.The landlady placed her dog at the next table.

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, because we were so ugly to be humbled to other guests. When they told us that we could only pay cash, we said we would not stay because we only have a card on the card, then we asked for the price of the toilet, of course there was no cash in us so we could not give it. The staff humiliated us badly before others.Personnel hurt themselves to treat the guests from other countries.

Very good Bürgerliches Gasthaus what you can not find everyday. Friendly service and excellent food with unique portions at great prices.

Very nice place, too bad that it is a little far from the center but very close to erdnberg station. As soon as you enter you feel a homey atmosphere, very welcoming, the friendly and kind staff also helps you in translating the German-English menu. The portions are super abundant and the beer is good. Great price. Highly recommended.

Quality selection of local food with huge portions. The schnitzel is really enormous! They also have a nice selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Close to the Vienna Bus Terminal makes it good stop before taking the bus away. It's just 5 minutes from the terminal.

On 8.5. I was in Vienna on business and was looking for a Schnitzel. I opted for the Gasthaus Schmitzberger because it was only 8 minutes away from my hotel. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly and pointed out that no card payment accepted. Luckily I had enough cash with me. After my order the food arrived within a few minutes. The portion was very large and the schnitzel was delicious. I would like to come back again at the next visit to Vienna :)

Typical today with delicious wine and a huge Sur schnitzel. Almost was not possible. The homemade salad was delicious.

Super. Delicious giant schnitzel, kind service and reasonable prices. Disadvantage is menu and service in German. English is a bit problem, but it is kind of fun to make an order. Absolutely recommend.

An old tavern, which also knows many funny waitresses, with a reschen friendliness special requests only for Stammrabublikum and for people who can behave.Of course, for many people, such as charging a cell phone or iPad, there are no comprehensible reasons.the proximity to the bus station often lets travelers with more or less tight cash and roll in huge backpack; this is expertly managed by the staff.much baked but the secret winner in the preference are probably the eggs dumpling with salad, which many non-vegetarians eat to determine almost as good as grandma.

The portions are huge and the menu very traditional. You get served promptly and the food is of good value for the Money. That's it from the positive side. The interior is almost too traditional and it smells a bit funny and this also applies to the staff. The waitress was highly annoyed by our presence and gave us the impression that she wants to get rid of guests as fast as possible. They are not interested in hospitality but in getting your money quickly and this you can leave cash only. So there is no possiblity to pay with bank or credit card. So one had to go to an ATM while others had to wait and were treated in the unfriendliest way possible. So this Restaurant survives by serving a lot and cheap. If you are just want to get full/fat and have cash with you...well this is the right place.

An incredible place !!! Cafe with a long history. Very tasty. The portions are really big - three of us have enough portions of schnitzel and a plate of potatoes! And what dog they live !!! ))) Thanks for the umbrella!
